Today is my "baby's" 3rd birthday! (that just does not even sound right!) We celebrated at the circus and a good time was definitely had by all. Here are a few photos of our day...

Is it really possible?

...that I am now the mother of a 17 year old?? I cannot comprehend that Taylor is really that old. I spent most of my quiet time this morning thanking God for him and asking God to bless him and guide him over this next year of his life. I am so proud of his love for Christ and his desire to make a difference in his youth group at church. My prayer for him today is not only that he would (finally!) earn the grades he is truly capable of in school, but that his primary motivation for doing that would be to glorify God by using the talents and abilities God has given him.

Today, I thank God (and Mom and Daddy!) for blessing me with such a wonderful sister. She is my friend, keeper of my secrets, my cheerleader, my therapist, my prayer warrior, my shoulder to cry on, and one of the best examples of Christ I know.

Emily, I love you dearly. You are a remarkable woman and I am so proud to be your sister. Thank you for your love, your prayers, and for pointing me to Jesus. You're amazing. Have a wonderful day.
